Australians - Study in Europe

This website is dedicated to making it easier for Australians to embark on postgraduate study in Europe.

As well as providing a host of links to relevant websites in Europe and Australia ASiE also undertakes research and consultation with the EU Commission, European governments and a great number of universities and foundations. The aim is to produce and update as much as possible all information concerning grants and scholarships available to Australian students seeking to pursue doctoral studies in Europe.

Fees & Funding - Denmark

As an Australian student without an EU passport you will be required to pay fees at Danish universities. Fees are high, ranging from €8,000 to €14,000 per annum. To ascertain the actual fees required for your degree you need to consult the individual university websites or the universities themselves.

Funding and Scholarships

There are scholarships and fee waivers available in limited numbers to international students and if you have achieved high marks in your undergraduate degree you should certainly consider yourself a chance at success in applying for some funding.

Scholarships and tuition fee waivers for international students are available through both institutional and governmental scholarships.
You might also consider the Erasmus Mundus scholarships for master's degrees. For more information on this you can go to our Erasmus Mundus pages or to the Danish Erasmus Mundus site.
You should also check out the JASON scholarships database and try the EU database Ploteus

If you are wanting to undertake a Doctorate you should also look at the The Researcher's Mobility Portal for information on scholar programme.
