This website is dedicated to making it easier for Australians to embark on postgraduate study in Europe.

As well as providing a host of links to relevant websites in Europe and Australia ASiE also undertakes research and consultation with the EU Commission, European governments and a great number of universities and foundations. The aim is to produce and update as much as possible all information concerning grants and scholarships available to Australian students seeking to pursue doctoral studies in Europe.

The University of London degree is highly regarded worldwide. At Royal Holloway we bring together talented students in departments where academic staff are working at the frontiers of their subjects. Through top-class research, international networks and conferences, we are advancing knowledge and serving society in many different ways. The university is situated west of London at Egham Hill in the country of Surrey about 11km from Heathrow airport.

Three faculties and 21 academic departments cover a broad range of subjects in science, social sciences, arts and humanities. The college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate University of London degrees to combine traditional interests with contemporary analysis.

The college also has a number of inter-disciplinary research centres, including: the Information Security Group; Institute for Environmental Research; Wetland Ecosystem Research Group; Muscular Dystrophy Research Group; Centre for Particle Physics Research; Centre in Computer Learning; Centre for Ethnic Minority Studies; Research Centre for the Holocaust; Bedford Centre for the History of Women; Centre for Victorian Art and Architecture.

A science foundation year is run in partnership with regional further education colleges, and Royal Holloway offers distance-learning programmes, including the University of London's external MBA.
